We
facilitate
Locally,
we encourage people to make closer links with family, friends
and neighbours. We can help people start up interest or
hobby groups to increase social networks, particularly in
more isolated rural areas. We call this our 'Connect Project',
and currently this is funded by Moray LEADER, with additional
support from the Moray Community Health and Social Care
Partnership (MCHSCP).
By working together with other voluntary and public services,
both locally and nationally, we aim to raise the quality
of life for older and more vulnerable people in Moray.
As well
as having local links with many support services, we are
members of Age
Scotland, Community
Food and Health Scotland (CFHS), Voluntary
Health Scotland, and the Foundation
for Social Improvement (FSI). By sharing the views and
concerns which older and vulnerable people, and their relatives,
pass on to us about services, we aim to influence future
decision making.
If you
wish to talk with us about any of our services please call
the main office on 01343 543490.
